Key Highlights and Format of the event:
============================== ==· This is a ½ day event organized by CTC and conducted / facilitated by TCC. Total session duration is for about 5 hours i.e. 08:00 Am to 01:00 PM -
· There are two events as part of its calendar.
1. Cyclogy - Nutrition,Training and Fitness – All about nutrition and training for endurance and competitive cycling
2. Cyclogy - Bike Workshop - All about bicycle maintenance, bike fit

Participant Profile for this event
=========================
· Amateur cyclists
· People who are just getting into cycling wanting to get educated more about this sport
· Participants need not get their bikes
· This workshop includes various demonstrations (see below). There is no hands on for the participants. A hands on workshop for advanced cyclists will be organized later on (October)
· Expense - non-profit event. 100Rs to share expense of LCD Projector, sandwiches, refreshments (or less if amount is less)

1. Cyclogy-Nutrition,Training and Fitness – All about nutrition and training for endurance and competitive cycling
a. Understanding your objective of cycling – (Endurance, competitive, weight loss or general fitness)
b. Diet – Dos and Dont (Before, during and after the event)
c. Systematic training program to improve performance (Base building, interval trainings etc)
d. How to avoid injuries
e. Warming up and stretching before, during and after the event

2. Cyclogy - Bike Workshop - All about bicycle maintenance, bike fit The following session are normally sought by TCC participants - Duration – 4 hours (Select any four of the following options)
a. Introduction to bicycles - All about bicyles – Types and uses (Mandatory)
b. Bike Fit - A session on how the ensure that you are riding the correct sized bike, set post well aligned, riding positions for various events etc
c. Puncture - Detailed session on air pressure, causes of puncture and fixing
d. Bicycle chain repair – Wear and tear, replacement, fixing broken chain
e. Gear alignment – Wear and tear, adjustment
